Hi! The start of a new year is the prefect time for making change and improvements in life and your terrarium should be part of that plan! The cold, dark, dreary days of winter can be depressing so why not add a bit of tropical flair inside your home and give your terrarium a face lift? Now is the perfect time to add some new plants and accents to spruce up your tanks. Flowering Gesneriads and colorful Begonias add a splash of color to brighten up your day while the lush greens of ferns and other foliage plants can help remind you of the warm tropics. Take a few moments to trim out any old, dead or dying growth and maybe add a new layer of leaf litter to freshen things up a bit and provide more hiding spots for your frogs. If you have to be stuck inside during the cold days and long nights, at least make the best of it by improving the appearance, and living conditions, of your little critters. Observing them will be all the more enjoyable for it! We use insulated boxes as well as heat packs to help ensure a safe arrival. Be sure to have your packages delivered to an address where someone will be able to receive them upon delivery from the carrier.
