Description

Vriesea rafaelii is an endemic species from Brazil, and is an ideal candidate for large terrarium growing. Vrieseas very well suited to the moist, humid tanks with variable lighting and this species has beautiful striped foliage which are quite appealing. Although it can grow to around a foot or so, it is very slow growing and can fit into most terrariums for at least a year or so. Lots of leaf axils provide plenty of breeding sites as well. Available plants are approximately 4-6" across.
