Description

One of the most beautiful Vriesea species and an ideal candidate for terrarium growing. Neoregelias are often sold for terrarium growing because they are easy to get and cheap, however they are some of the more difficult ones to grow in the moist terrarium. Vrieseas are much more suited to the moist, humid tanks with variable lighting and this species has beautiful red and green patterned leaves as a bonus. Although it can grow to around a foot or more, it is very slow growing and can fit into most terrariums for at least a year or so. Lots of axils provide plenty of breeding sites as well. Available plants young and small and are potted in a 3" pot.
