Spiral Ginger - aka Costus igneus, aka Insulin plant due to the fact that it's extract is used to treat diabetes. The leaves of this plant grow in a spiral fashion along its stem which can get to approximately 2' tall. That said, it is one of the shorter gingers and can be used in a taller vivarium which would make it perfect for red eye tree frogs and other leaf frogs. Produces bright orange flowers and is an easy grower. Native to Brazil.
