Featured on the cover of Charles Clarke’s book ‘Nepenthes of Sumatra’, this species has an extremely wide flanged peristome. Pitcher and peristome colouration can vary through green to yellow, orange and deep red.
This item originates from Lusung Tungkut, which is the type-locale. As there are 40 different clones involved in this item, the pitcher colouration may vary somewhat between individuals.
