Hippeastrum ‘San Antonio Rose’
A Classic Amaryllis with Warm, Romantic Color
Hippeastrum ‘San Antonio Rose’ is a refined and dependable amaryllis cultivar known for its lush rose-pink blooms and graceful presence. Large, trumpet-shaped flowers open in soft shades of warm pink, often deepening toward the throat and accented by gentle veining that adds depth and elegance. Each sturdy flower stalk typically carries multiple blooms, creating an impressive display indoors during winter or outdoors in suitable climates.
The flowers rise above glossy, strap-like green foliage, making this variety equally attractive in active growth or in bloom. ‘San Antonio Rose’ is valued for its balanced form and classic coloration—neither overly bold nor pale—making it an excellent choice for those who prefer timeless beauty over novelty.
Easy to grow and reliable, this Hippeastrum performs well in containers and responds predictably to standard amaryllis care. After flowering, the plant can be grown on to recharge the bulb, rewarding attentive growers with repeat blooms in future seasons.
