While we were not the first to use a coconut half shell as a shelter or bower for use in the husbandry of dart frogs, we coined the name "Co-Co Hut" back in 1994 when devising interesting and catchy names for our products. The name surely caught on and is now a commonly used reference for a coconut shelter throughout the hobby. Co-Co Huts are a great choice for the natural vivarium because of their decay resistant qualities when used in wet habitats. We now offer excellent quantity discounts so there is no longer a need for you to lose a thumbnail while making your own from scratch (as I once did!). This large sized hut is approx. 5" in diameter.
