We first saw this amazing Calathea on a long-ago trip to Costa Rica where it was growing on the forest floor at the La Selva Biological Research Station. We noticed that although it was only a few inches tall it was already mature and blooming. There were two different forms growing side by side, one all green and a prettier form with a silver stripe up the center of each leaf. Upon our return we were amazed to be able to secure a source for a limited number of these plants and are thrilled to be able to offer them to you. The plant grows in a typical Calathea fashion but reaches only about 5-6" tall. Small white flowers are produced by each newly matured growth. An ideal candidate for any size terrarium. Prefers low light and a moist, humid environment. EXTREMELY LIMITED NUMBERS AVAILABLE!!!! Available plants are growing in 2" pots.
