Description

A fine leafed Vriesea with pinkish-red colored inflorescence. Easy to grow as a houseplant, they are also great for adding color to the terrarium as they enjoy more moisture than the grey-leaved species do. These are young plants growing in 2" pots and may take up to a year before becoming blooming age. The plants are currently ~ 3+" tall and can be grown terrestrially in a well-drained tropical mix or they can be mounted and grown epiphytically with some damp sphagnum moss secured to the base. (photo of bloom for reference only, remember, these are NOT BLOOMING at this time.)
