Description

Begonia amphioxus is an exceptionally beautiful species of Begonia with amazingly patterned foliage. Each apple-green leaf is spotted with bright crimson that also edges each leaf blade. Begonia amphioxus is a rhizomatous species native to Asia where it grows in humid rainforests. It grows well with moist soil and good humidity. A terrarium is the perfect spot to grow it in the home. Bright, ambient light with no direct sun is best. It is a taller grower and can reach well over a foot tall but is easy to pinch back to a smaller size. Available plants are 3-4" tall and potted in 2" pots.
