Description

One of the easier of all Gesneriads to grow, S. tubiflora does best on a sunny windowsill or outdoors in partial sun. Narrow grey-green leaves are paired along the stems that reach 8"-10" tall. From this arises 12" spikes carrying 2" long tubular white flowers that are quite fragrant, unusual for a Gesneriad! Quickly multiplies via underground tubers and goes dormant in the winter. Available plants are growing in 3" deep pots.
