Nepenthes campanulata (Borneo) - Lowland
This species was thought to be extinct until it was rediscovered in 1997. A very unusual species, only one type of trap is produced which has the appearance of an upturned greenish yellow bell. The peristome is reduced to a row of tiny incurved teeth. Plants are potted in 3" deep pots with leaf spans ~ 2"-3" across.
Very rare and difficult to acquire in the USA. The high price has been established by many factors including rarity, supply, demand, and purchase convenience, not the size of the plant! - Plants are very young and small and are shipped potted in a 2-3" pot.
