Description

A true GIANT in the plant world, the Thailand Giant strain of C. gigantea can reach truly huge proportions. When grown in the ground the plant can reach nearly ten feet tall with each leaf almost as tall as an adult. Even when grown in a large pot the plant is truly massive. It is a very fast grower when provided with ample sun, water and fertilizer. Hardy to zone 7b in the ground, it can be cut back and stored over winter similar to Banans and Cannas in colder climates. Few plants can rival this one for drama in the landscape. Available plants are growing in 3" deep pots and are ready to explode into larger containers upon arrival!
