This is a very rare species of Caladium yet it is surprisingly easy to grow. Narrow, lance-shaped leaves are held on 12"-14" stems. Each dark green leaf is speckled in bright white and has a thick, waxy texture. Unlike most other species, this one does not go dormant during the winter but grows throughout the year. It does well in larger terrariums and even fares well as a houseplant under shady conditions and moist soil. A native of Ecuador, it is still very rare in cultivation and rarely seen offered for sale. Sale plants are growing in 4" pots and are approximately 10" tall. Availability is extremely limited!
