| Description |
| A. paeoniifolus is a spectacular species to start with as it has a reliable spring through fall growth cycle making it perfect for growers in temperate climates. The leaf is very attractive, finely dissected into an elaborate snowflake. The inflorescence is truly bizarre that resembles a purple brain set inside a pink/purple ruffled collar. Of course, all Amorphophallus have the "interesting" fragrance that adds even more drama to their blooming period!
These are small (1"-2"), corms potted in 3" a pot, just emerging from dormancy. They will likely produce a leaf approx. 8"-12" tall and about 8" across. With good culture they can reach blooming size in just a few years! |
