A beautiful, smaller growing species that is easy to grow even as a houseplant. In late spring the leaf emerges from the tuber and is finely divided, each leaflet edged in pink. From the center of each leaf, and on larger leaf divisions, a small bulb is produced that can be planted to produce new plants. The bloom resembles a large pink shell and is produced every other year on mature plants. The plant goes dormant in late fall making it easy to grow outdoors during the summer and then overwinter the tuber inside. Available plants are seedlings growing in 4" pots. Current emerging leaf size will be approx. 12" tall and 8"-10" across.
